Together, we share our lives with five dogs: two Working Cocker Spaniels, Somerby and Sergio; a Flatcoated Retriever, Pepsi; a Presa Canario Cross, Bell; and a Pointer Cross, Vinny. They all share their lives with Lily, the Norwegian Forest Cat, who is the oldest and wisest of the bunch!
 
Our dogs all have with their quirks and different characters. There isn't anything that we haven’t worked through with them at some stage. This is why we feel so passionately about continued learning and helping other guardians with their dogs.

Ali is a qualified trainer with IMDT. She has completed her City & Guilds Scentwork Instructor and Handler certification with the College of Scent Dogs. There is nothing better than hearing a dog sniffing. Ali is also a KAD Approved Professional and an affiliate of The National School Dog Alliance. She finds immense joy in seeing children and dogs living in harmony and witnessing the supportive and life-changing impact a dog can have. Ali is also a trainer and assessor for PAWS Therapy & Assistance Dogs, and being part of the PAWS Team, seeing therapy dogs and assistance dogs grow in confidence and skill, is gratifying.
Ali is working towards her Level 5 Behaviour Practitioner with The DoGenius Institute and will be moving on to her Level 6 in 2025. 
 

Nigel is a qualified Gundog Trainer and Handler with the Gundog Trainers Academy, the only gundog training association in the country accredited by the ABTC (Animal Behaviour and Training Council). Nigel offers force-free, reward-based training to help you work together with your dog. This approach not only improves the bond between you and your dog but also helps release some of their frustrations by providing an outlet in their natural environment.
